Motivated lighting is the art of taking natural or practical light sources within an environment and amplifying them using professional lighting techniques. The goal is to make the subject stand out while keeping the light believable, creating visuals that feel like movie stills. By mastering motivated lighting, your photography will gain a cinematic edge, and your videography will instantly look more polished, immersive, and impactful.

Participants will learn:
• How to identify and build upon natural light sources.
• Techniques for amplifying practical lights to create drama.
• The balance between realism and stylization in lighting.
• How to make your shots look like screen grabs from high-end films.
